Moldova April 2021: Toyota RAV4 leads, C-HR in Top 10, sales up 229.5% YoY

First Moldovan Top 10 finish for the Toyota C-HR.

Based on data shared with us by our Central European market data partner CE Auto, new car sales in Moldova surge back up 229.5% year-on-year on Covid-impacted year-ago volumes to 514 units. The year-to-date tally is now up 37.2% to 1.743. The Toyota RAV4 (+150%) remains in pole position like year-to-date and over the Full Year 2020. It is followed this time by the Dacia Logan (+3000%) and Duster (+211.1%) while the Kia Sportage (+500%) and Suzuki Vitara stick to their YTD ranking at #4 and #5 respectively. The Hyundai Tucson (+200%) is up to #6, the Kia Rio up to #7 and breaks into the YTD Top 10 at #9, the Renault Kadjar scores a second consecutive Top 10 finish at #8 and the Toyota C-HR breaks into the Moldovan Top 10 for the first time at #10.
